Elevator Construction
As a part of our ongoing capital improvement work, the Green Mountain Inn will be installing an elevator. Construction began mid-April and is scheduled for completion mid-July.
What does this mean for guests of the Inn?
- All of our facilities will be open and available to our guests throughout the project.
- Dinner and lunch will still be served in The Whip.
- Breakfast will not be served in the Inn but guests who signed up for a breakfast package will receive a voucher for breakfast at a surround property.
- Construction will take place from 7am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
- There will be signs around the resort directing guests on where to go.
- The driveway between the Inn and Depot building will be closed to traffic throughout the project.
The project is expected to be completed by mid-July 2008. Once complete the elevator will service the main dining room, function room, living rooms and 41 guest rooms located in the Main Inn and Depot building.
We are excited about this project and feel this new elevator will enhance the guest experience and make the Inn more accessible.
