Throughout the summer and early fall, one of the most celebrated local displays of Green Mountain pride can be found at the Stowe Farmer’s Market. Besides the bounty of local products that can be found year-round throughout our beloved area of New England, the Stowe Farmers’ Market brings the best of all of Vermont to one place, running annually every Sunday from May to October. With the picturesque backdrop of the natural, mountainous landscape, there are so many wonderful things to discover about the local farms and farmers in this crown jewel of the Vermont farmers’ market scene.
Farmers’ Markets Stowe
Held rain or shine at the Farmers’ Markets Stowe lot on Mountain Road (Sundays from 10:30AM – 3:00PM through the middle of October), you’ll find a smorgasbord of fresh food, family fun, and community pride. From the locally produced fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, and dairy products to the freshest baked goods, wines, beers, honey, and jams, there are over 50 vendors annually, whose wares are just waiting for you to peruse. And while foodie favorites such as Black Diamond Barbecue and Green Mountain Pot stickers have your hunger sated, a variety of artisans have brought their handmade works that are just as locally sourced as the edible goods from the earth.
