The expertly groomed VAST trail network winds around the area for VAST members. One can also enjoy a guided tour from Stowe Snowmobile Tours.
Nordic Skiing
Stowe offers renowned terrain for cross-country skiing & snowshoeing! Visit the Trapp Family Lodge Cross-Country Ski Center, Umiak Outfitters and the Stowe Mountain Resort for numerous trails and guided tours.
Ice Skating
Visit the Jackson Ice Arena located one block from the Green Mountain Inn. The Arena offers public skating and skate rentals most days from late October through late March.
Sledding
Just a short walk from the Inn, Marshall Hill provides a wonderful environment for sledding and tobogganing! Sleds and toboggans may be rented at Shaw’s General Store in Stowe Village.
